Planning, packing and moving across the pond is a lot like wedding planning, but without the fun party to enjoy at the end of the day! There are endless to do lists, staying on top of deadlines, following up with people or each other, then finally cheering when you accomplish anything on your list!
Dinners and car rides have turned more into boardroom meetings than time spent talking about our day. But knowing we’re moving towards a goal keeps us motivated and excited to talk about our to do lists and latest research.
Thankfully we’re finding most things are getting checked off and less being added, with our biggest one yet, we booked our tickets this week; which means we only have two weeks left of this craziness!
Anyone want to throw us a party at the end?! -L
